American Roulette Strategy

Tuesday, May 12th, 2009

When I was fourteen years of age my fogeys took me on a two day cruise, it was great; my pa spent the entire time looking a bit green whilst my mother introduced me to the amazements of onboard casinos – that was the start of my love affair with roulette. 10 years later, I love the roulette wheel, its appeal and excitement has not faded. In the course of those 10 years, however I have spotted a number of systems that folks have a tendency to play with – personally I suspect they take the fun out of the game, but hey, everybody has the legal right to grasp what their options are, right? The commonest methodology utilized in roulette is commonly known as the Martingale. This system relies on the speculation that losing streaks don’t last long, so if you continue to speculate on the same one of 2 chance options (e.g. Black or red / chances or evens), it will not be long till you win. Now, the way that you earn cash on this is by doubling your bet every time every time you do not win.

If I bet $5 on red and it comes up black, then I have lost $5, however the subsequent spin I bet $10 on red – oops came up black again, now I have lost a total of $15. Never mind, I stick with the Martingale idea, I double my bet on the same choice and so I put down $20 on red. Does it work out? Yes, I bet $5 + $10 + $20 = $35; I made a $5 profit.

Once you have grappled with the Martingale, the subsequent plan for you to address to be the Uber Martingale, really more generally called the Grand Martingale. This plan works in the same way as the regular Martingale, except that with the Grand Martingale you double your bet and you add one of your original bet. So, after the 1st loss of $5 you double it to $10, but you also add one, i.e. if that one doesn’t come in for you, you double the $15 and add one, i.e.

This increases your margin when you do win. The reality is that I have seen folk win huge with these methods; they are highly logical and do work.

I have also seen folks loose hot on them because they failed to plan correctly; a table with a low limit may cause issues while playing the Martingale methods as it increases the likelihood of reaching the limit before you win. So, if you are going to play this strategy, play at a high limit table, and always start your gambles low. This is not the only roulette methodology used, but it’s the most typical. Personally, I find all techniques to be a little lifeless, excepting mine that’s – favorite numbers, birthdays and following the tummy; honestly you cannot beat it.
